You can easily automate processes with the new intelligent OnRobot Screwdriver for light industrial and collaborative robots. Intelligent error detection and handling of various screw sizes ensure consistent results and drastically reduce your cycle time.
Safety Shield
The safety shield covers the bit and screw when the tool is in motion, thereby protecting the user from rotating and sharp elements. If the tool unexpectedly encounters an object, a safety sensor immediately stops the robot. The built-in safety sensor is performance level-d, making implementation safe and easy.
Easy path programming
The included teach pen helps the user set the exact position via screw insertion points. When the freedrive button is pressed, the tool can be moved to the next position. Use the configurable button to save waypoints, start the screwdriver, etc.
Inspection holes and hard-to-reach spaces
Screws can be inserted into countersunk holes with a depth of up to 15 mm from the surface.

OnRobot Screwdriver and the available screw feeders handle a wide range of screw sizes from M1.6 to M6 and up to 50 mm in length. Precise torque control ranges from 0.15 Nm to 5 Nm. OnRobot Screwdriver is more versatile and intelligent than traditional tools, capable of detecting whether the screw is picked up, has the correct length, or is seated correctly after tightening.
OnRobot Screwdriver features protection functions, making it suitable for collaborative applications with screws up to a maximum of 35 mm, which are fully retracted into the Screwdriver during motion. The safety stop is automatically activated if a screw is subjected to excessive force along the axis. A warning light illuminates to indicate a problem.
