BILA Group is the future owner of Sealing System

BILA Group acquires the majority of the operations from the bankruptcy estate of Sealing System and ensures the continued production of the complete packaging and palletising systems demanded and appreciated by customers. A new manager will be in charge of the continuation of Sealing System. The sale secures more than 120 jobs.
BILA Group, known and recognised for production optimisation for more than 30 years, has just acquired the majority of Sealing System's operations.

For that reason, BILA Group acquired a large part of Sealing System's operations,"
says CEO and co-owner of BILA Group, Jan Bisgaard Sørensen.
BILA Group is looking to the future. The plan is that Sealing System—following the bankruptcy and under new ownership—will continue to produce the complete packaging and palletising systems that customers demand and appreciate. Sealing System maintains its name, logo, location in Grindsted, and its strong culture.
A strong Danish player in the international market for industrial automation
"Because there is a natural and good match between us—both in terms of technology and market focus—BILA Group is a strong owner for the future. The acquisition contributes to our ambition to create an even stronger Danish actor in the international industrial automation market," explains Jan Bisgaard Sørensen.
BILA Group puts a new manager in charge of the company to carry on some of the operations from the bankruptcy estate. Stephan Heessels has accepted the position of CEO of Sealing System. He is a skilled leader with extensive knowledge of logistics systems. He most recently held the position of Division Manager at Beumer's Head of Centre of Competence Logistic Systems.
More than 120 jobs secured
BILA Group secures jobs for more than 120 of Sealing System's skilled employees. They basically have to do the same tasks tomorrow as they did before the bankruptcy.
Stephan Heessels and Jan Bisgaard Sørensen fully understand that many people have a lot of questions and would like answers right away.
"Unfortunately, we can't provide all answers right away. Taking over a bankrupt company is a hectic and compact process. That applies to all aspects: tasks, employees, customers, projects and much more that you first have to deal with on paper rather than in reality. Not until now do we get to really look into the 'engine room' in practice," says Jan Bisgaard Sørensen.
Stephan Heessels continues:
"We know that well-functioning packaging and palletising systems are business-critical for many customers. The new management team, therefore, highly prioritises to quickly enter into a dialogue with the affected customers and to work with them to prepare an effective plan. We have an entire team dedicated to this task."
